About the Shawn Blanton Scholarship
The Shawn Blanton Scholarship came out of Shawn's love for the game of Softball. We knew it would be a great way to honor Shawn's memory.
The Scholarship will be a Girls' Softball Scholarship. The athlete will be a senior and member of their High School Softball Team. She should already have been accepted to a 2 or 4 year school.

To apply each girl must submit an essay to the Board of Directors to the above address. The essay will be a three hundred word minimum and should include an introduction of herself, school attended, sports played, clubs, honors, awards and other extracurricular activity at school. She should include what she would like to study in college and what her professional career might be. Tell us about any civic or community functions you are involved in and what your hobbies are.
